Assembly Operator 3rd Shift

Summary The Assembly Operator will perform the assembly of quality components to manufacture products for the automotive lighting industry. Opportunities are on 3rd shift with hours 11pm to 7:30am. Job Duties Produces components by following operator instructions to assemble parts; Inspects parts visually for obvious defects and component verification; Install lights, harnesses, and/or other components to molded/painted parts as required; Packs finished products in racks, bags, cardboard boxes, dunnage and totes; Label parts ensuring label accuracy; Maintains work area, cleans and replenishes parts as required; Ensures all parts are labeled properly following plant wide color-coding system. Requirements Ability to manually assemble parts by utilizing hand tools and power tools. Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to work positions changing from standing to bending and lifting up to 30lbs of parts and boxes. Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish team goals. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
