This aligns with the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Mission Statement to honor America's Veterans by providing exceptional healthcare that improves their health and well-being.Key Responsibilities:Typical shift M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm; rotating call (approximately every 6 weeks)Responsible for all functions which fall under the scope of care of the Diagnostic Imaging ServiceConducts interpretations on Diagnostic Imaging, MRI, CT, US, IR, or NM (any or all)Defines Modality Specific ProtocollingConsults with Ordering ProvidersReviews Orders and defines imaging protocolsAssists in Fee Basis Consult ReviewPerforms Non-IR Invasive ProceduresResident supervision/educationWhat We Offer:Competitive Salary: $- $Generous Paid Time Off: 50-55 days per year, including 26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and potential 5-day paid absence for CME.Retirement Benefits: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and a federal 401K with up to 5% contributions by VA.Comprehensive Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care, with many programs carrying into retirement.Flexibility: No physician employment contract and no significant restriction onProfessional Development: Up to 5 days’ paid leave and reimbursement of $1,000 perMalpractice: Free liability protection with tail coverage providedPreferred Experience:Board Certified or Board Eligible in RadiologyExperience as a general radiologist with experience in body imaging and nuclear medicineMust be a S.
