Title: Product Operations Analyst - 31148Location: Hybrid, San Francisco, CA (2nd St HQ)Classification: W2 under Staffing Supplier – 40hrs per weekContract Duration: 4 MonthsCompensation: $54.35/hourVisa Sponsorship: Not availablePosition OverviewA high-growth digital platform team is seeking a sharp, resourceful Product Operations Analyst to drive hands-on improvements across the sales pipeline and merchant experience. This is an action-oriented, operations role that involves direct merchant outreach, sales funnel analysis, workflow optimization, and creative problem solving in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct direct outreach to merchants via phone and email to gather insights, resolve issues, and enhance onboarding and usage experience.Analyze sales calls and merchant interactions to identify patterns, surface objections, and help train the team for sharper positioning.Build and execute outbound communication campaigns, creating scalable outreach sequences using modern tools.Assess and troubleshoot process bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements to increase pipeline efficiency.Structure and deliver concise, actionable summaries for internal teams, clearly communicating operational findings.Support ad hoc data analysis, operational tasks, and documentation as needed to move team priorities forward.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (required).1–3 years’ professional experience in analytics, operations, project management, or a customer-facing role (internships and contract work count).Strong proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.); basic experience with SQL or data querying a plus.Experience conducting outbound outreach (phone or email) and synthesizing findings for non-technical audiences.Excellent written and verbal communication; able to speak directly with customers and summarize insights effectively.Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and solving problems.Comfortable working independently, shifting priorities, and collaborating in a hybrid environment.Authorized to work in the U.S.; available for hybrid schedule with regular in-office presence in San Francisco.Reliable internet and phone access.Preferred QualificationsExperience in marketplace, SaaS, or platform environments (especially with SMB/merchant customer base).Experience building outreach campaigns in sales engagement tools (e.g. Outreach, Apollo, Salesloft).Familiarity with qualitative research methods and using AI tools to accelerate workflow.
