The Frederick National Laboratory is a Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC) sponsored by the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and operated by Leidos Biomedical Research, Inc. The department currently supports four full-time medical physics faculty, six clinical physicists, four dosimetrists, two medical physics assistants, a dedicated linear accelerator engineer, and information systems and research staff, inclusive of research scientists, post-doctoral fellows, and clinical research associates.
