Job Summary The Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Per Diem is responsible for performing laboratory testing, recording and reviewing test results, preparing and labeling blood components. Properly perform, and complete comprehension of, quality control and preventative maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLS/MT) As a Laboratory Technologist, you will perform highly complex laboratory testing in registered CLIA subspecialties which may include general immunology, immunohematology (ABO & Rh grouping), and syphilis serology.

One year of approved clinical laboratory experience, which must include a clinical rotation through the following sections of the laboratory: Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U. S. or with an accredited laboratory within the last 5 years.

Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory OR equivalent education/experience AND Current Medical Laboratory Scientist certification with the American Society for Clinical Pathology or equivalent certifying organization; or certification with specialty organization appropriate to the laboratory division AND Two years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist 1 or equivalent experience.
