Job Description CARPENTER, Facilities-Repair and Maintenance, to perform carpentry work in all areas of the Institute using a wide range of carpentry tools. Will repair, install, and maintain all types of wood and metal doors, panic hardware, mortise locks, exit devices, and door closures; install VCT floors and other types of flooring; install drop ceilings and other types of ceilings; build walls using drywall and studs; make and install laminate counters, wooden shelves, and cabinets; and use woodworking tools and machinery, e.g., jointer, shaper, mortise and tenon, lathe and thickness planner, table saws, sander machine and general hand tools.
