Reporting to the Housing Operations Manager, with additional lead work direction provided from other members of the Facilities Management team, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for all maintenance needs and work requests for student housing and any other structures or buildings operated by Sonoma State University.

Percentage of time Duties/Responsibilities Assists Farm Manager in general upkeep and maintenance of research farm facilities– general maintenance in and around multiple research farm buildings, maintaining wildlife fence, mowing grass, maintaining landscaped areas around buildings, etc.

Provide training of all building mechanical systems and the computer software required to monitor and run them to incoming Director of Facilities and incoming Manager of Facilities.

Under general direction from the Plant Maintenance Manager, the Plant Maintenance Supervisor will supervise and support staff responsible for performing a variety of maintenance in the areas of electrical, electronic, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and concrete work.

Description THIS POSITION IS EXEMPT FROM VETERAN PREFERENCEUnder the general direction of the Public Works and Utilities Director, this professional/technical position is responsible to manage/oversee the operating facilities in the City. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: building systems, structures, and interiors and exteriors of buildings for efficient, reliable, safe and secure buildings for municipal use.

The Maintenance Manager reports to the Plant Manager and leads an organization consisting of the following Veolia resources: Maintenance Planner, Maintenance MRO Planner, and resident contractor team composed of Maintenance supervisor, two (2) E&I Technicians, two (2) Pipe fitters Mechanics, two, Boilermaker Mechanics, One millwright mechanic, and one general Labor Mechanic.

The Facilities Manager / Environmental Services Director is a hands on, working manager position who is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and ongoing care of the site's building(s) and grounds.

Interacts and communicates with various groups and individuals such as the Recreation Coordinator, Parks Manager, Athletics, co-workers, other departments, clubs, Police Department, Fire Department, and the general public.

POSITION SUMMARY: With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Fleet Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician A performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks including, but not limited to, chassis components; refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems; air brake systems; general engine work; HVAC components; and suspension, drive train and steering systems.

Inspects and maintains secured airport property; provides weekly inspection, maintenance and repair to secured fence line, protective guard rail, security sliding and swinging gates; repairs may include the fabrication of aluminum and steel, backfill to prevent or repair fence line from washouts or security breaches; assembles steel barricades and bollards for fire hydrant protection.

Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager which may include picking up trash, clean dumpster areas, trash rooms and trash chutes, blowing the parking area and sidewalks, removing debris, power washing, etc.

POSITION SUMMARY: With direct supervision from a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician B performs repair and maintenance work on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks including, but not limited to, chassis components, vehicle refuse bodies and control systems, hydraulic electrical, air brake systems, general engine work, HVAC components, suspension, drive train and steering systems.

Ensure all facilities have a monthly schedule for maintenance of floors (strip, wax and buffing) Facilities Manager Bronx, NY : 6/24/2024. Plan, organize and manage maintenance and housekeeping staff of the Facilities Management Division.

Under the supervision of the Recreation Area Manager/Recreation Supervisor, this position provides general administrative and program support in the maintenance, implementation, and monitoring of Aquatics programs and staff.

We also formed Blue Polymers, a joint venture with Ravago, to develop facilities that will further process plastic material from our Polymer Centers to help meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging.
