Backed by 20 years of experience, Soccer Stars offers a unique, age-specific curriculum that is crafted to improve soccer skills, build self-confidence, and develop socialization skills. Our mission is to change the first-touch soccer experience in the U.S. We focus on combining technical skills and cognitive learning while making soccer fun. We're currently setting up classes, camps and leagues all over Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton, Sandy Springs, Roswell, Dunwoody, East Cobb, Marietta, Kennesaw & Acworth and we're looking for smart, passionate coaches to join us. Our coaches play a crucial role in fostering what will become one of the most memorable experiences in our children's lives. Coaches will be trained on our proven curriculum and will provide soccer training for ages 1 -12 at parks & rec departments, schools and daycares. Requirements Responsibilities will include: <ul><li>Deliver our best-in-class curriculum to small groups of children in a non-competitive and educational environment</li><li>Teach an energetic and motivating class while connecting and challenging each child to develop their skills</li><li>Create a fun and safe learning environment for all children in the program</li><li>Use positive reinforcement and specific labeled praise to encourage children to do better and celebrate success</li><li>Act as a positive role model for children by exemplifying good sportsmanship and positive attitude</li><li>Manage a group of children aged 1 to 12 years old</li><li>Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular feedback on their child's progress</li><li>Maintain and organize equipment, ensuring that all necessary tools are available for classes</li><li>Effectively and clearly communicate any programming issues to the home office</li><li>Showing up on time, every time </li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>Passion for working with children </li><li>A positive mindset with a desire to have fun while teaching</li><li>Strong oral/written communication skills and interpersonal skills</li><li>Open to feedback</li><li>Desire to improve by attending regular training and following the Soccer Stars Coaching Manual</li><li>At least 18 years old or older</li><li>Reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to arrive early to set up for classes</li><li>No soccer experience needed (but definitely helpful)</li><li>Must be able to pass a background check </li></ul>Our ideal candidate has prior experience working with children (as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader), and enjoys working with children.
