- The Global Health Training, Advisory and Support Contract (GHTASC) delivers effective global health programming to advance the mission of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Global Health (GH) through institutional support and workforce development services from junior, mid-level, senior and expert advisory and administrative professionals.
- The Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Advisor will primarily support the Maternal and Child Health and Nutrition Office as a PHI Institutional Support Contractor (ISC).
- In this role, the selected candidate will provide USAID with programmatic and technical expertise in water, sanitation, hygiene, and other areas of environmental health as these relate to public health, and particularly to child survival.
- The Advisor will work across bureaus as part of USAID's Extended Water Team, preparing and reviewing regional and global strategies for alignment with the U.S. Government's Global Water Strategy.
- Additional programmatic opportunities could include joint planning with the Humanitarian Assistance Bureau for humanitarian response, or collaboration with other USG units outside of USAID.
