- This role will be responsible for managing the process to conceptualize and establish United Way’s emerging portfolio of work in the climate change and clean energy program areas to help communities around the world become more resilient.
- The Vice President, Community Resilience Strategy will report to the SVP of Government Partnerships and will work collaboratively with other members of the United Way Worldwide Team, as well as outside policy experts.
- Partnership Building: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, non-profit organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to maximize resources and impact in disaster relief efforts.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in environment, energy, disaster relief, community development or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Knowledge of relevant policies, regulations, and best practices in environmental and energy management and community resiliency.
