- The YWCA of Western Massachusetts has been a vital part of our community for over 150 years, providing shelter, support services, and tools for self-sufficiency for women and girls.
- Our services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, shelter, and support for women and children who have experienced domestic violence and/or sexual assault, as well as assistance for pregnant and parenting teens and out-of-school youth.
- This is a full-time on-site role as a Violence Prevention Instructor located in Springfield, MA. As a Violence Prevention Instructor, you will be responsible for conducting educational programs and workshops to prevent violence and promote safe and healthy relationships.
- Your day-to-day tasks will include developing curriculum, delivering presentations, facilitating group discussions, and providing support and resources to individuals and families affected by violence.
- You will also collaborate with community organizations and participate in outreach activities.
