- Set direction for and directly manage the following groups: Customer Quality Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, Quality Systems, Reliability Engineering and Software Quality Engineering.
- Define and execute world class quality systems that support customers: Global RMA system, customer information requests, customer contract reviews, customer NPI support, quarterly quality reviews with key customers, PCN/EOL process, Issue resolution processes (Corrective Action, Preventive Action, 8D), etc.
- Define supplier quality metrics and targets and meet with key suppliers quarterly to review them.
- Drive supplier Quality Management initiatives including audits, performance evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Drive on time completion of formal product reliability qualifications as a key part of the NPI process.
