- The flagship of the health system is a 350 bed full service medical center housing a complete complement of inpatient and outpatient services with the latest technology.
- Job Summary: The Vascular Technologist is expected to interact with patients and their families in a caring, considerate manner and provide care with the highest regard for the patient's mental, spiritual, and physical well-being.
- The Vascular Technologist is responsible for the performance of vascular studies to include: Carotid duplex, Aorta duplex, Vein mapping, Venous duplex, Arterial physiology studies, Arterial duplex, Renal/SMA arterial duplex, Arterial By-Pass grafts, Dialysis Access grafts, pre-op dialysis access evaluations, venous insufficiency exams, and ABI's.
- The Vascular Technologist is required to deliver services to infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in all areas of the hospital, within the laboratory setting, and in the physician office setting.
- The Vascular Technologist is expected to perform the duties and responsibilities with indirect, minimal supervision and must make many independent decisions.
