- 7-10 years of experience trimming, cutting, and/or sewing high-quality leather interiors and trim for Automotive, Aerospace, and/or Marine applications
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of leather work, sewing, and automotive upholstery techniques
- The Upholstery Specialist is responsible for sewing/stitching all vehicle interiors, including but not limited to leather, cloth fabric, and carpet for seats, panels, headliners, dashboards, center consoles, etc.
- Operates an industrial grade sewing machine, installs thread, winds bobbin, cleans and oils the machine, and makes adjustments to the machine for different fabric thicknesses
- Install leather, carpet, or cloth coverings on a variety of parts and panels
