- Under the direction of the Department Manager of the Renal Center and Renal Transplant Medical Director, the Transplant Coordinator provides professional direct and indirect multi-problem nursing care for a selected population of transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors; serves as coordinator between patients, hospital staff, community physicians, and the transplant center; does related work as required.
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of a school of nursing or Current enrollment in an accelerated program leading to a BSN or MSN degree.
- 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting or renal RN experience.
