- The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s teaching efforts in the DPT Program and in the Interdisciplinary Graduate Program in Biomechanics and Movement Science (BIOMS) in his or her area of expertise.
- The Department includes 30 faculty and professionals including 14 tenure track faculty with independent research lines, approximately 60 professional students per class pursuing a DPT, >100 graduate students pursuing a PhD in BIOMS, post-professional residencies and fellowships, and 10,000 sq.
- of active sports, orthopedic, neurological, and older adult physical therapy clinics.
- The College is housed in multiple buildings on the traditional main campus, but also is an anchor tenant of the University’s Science, Technology, and Advanced Research (STAR) Campus.
- In addition to Kinesiology and Applied Physiology (ranked #5 according to the National Academy of Kinesiology), the College has six additional academic units, including Communication Sciences and Disorders, Epidemiology, Health Behavior and Nutrition Sciences, Medical and Molecular Sciences, Physical Therapy (ranked #1 by US News and World Report), and the School of Nursing.
