- JOB DETAILSTelemetry RN’s monitor patients’ vital signs by reading and analyzing an electrocardiogram, or another life sign-measuring device.
- Tele RN’s monitor critically ill patients: most are cardiac cases.
- Tele RN’s care for patients who are out of the ICU, but need their vital signs monitored closely (after surgery, for example).
- Education/Requirements:Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN): 4-Year Education Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN): 2-Year Education You must earn an ADN or BSN degree and pass the NCLEX to apply for a license as a RN. RN‘s can only work with an active state license.
