While they have big firm resources and abilities, they have remained nimble and offer mid size firm flexibilaties and growth opportunities. ***FULLY REMOTE ROLE Top Reasons to Work with Us -Fantastic Work/Life Balance including long weekends when not in season! - 401k Match - Full Medical, Dental & Vision - Kind and caring corporate culture from top to bottom - Excellent career growth opportunity What You Will Be Doing Lead the tax practice for one of the assigned verticals and / or regions Research tax issues that may impact our clients' financial position Successfully resolve tax issues identified that impact clients' business Provide strong technical knowledge on corporate, individual, and partnership tax planning, consulting, and compliance activities for our clients Communicate with the IRS, and other tax authorities on behalf of clients' tax matters, and serve as a client representative for any tax-related audit Conduct tax research using authorized tax software programs and technology Supervise, mentor, develop and review other professional Tax Staff members Oversee engagement budgets throughout assignments Keep firm Partners updated on status of all client engagements Develop and sustain strong client relationships Participate in client proposals and new business development opportunities Stay current on technical and industry developments and standards, while evaluating the potential impact on clients' business interests What You Need for this Position Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a Business-related field An advanced Tax degree (MST, LLM, JD) is a plus CPA license or EA certification is required 8+ years of relevant tax compliance experience gained in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, or tax consulting practice Strong tax compliance, analysis and tax research experience Proficient with use of CCH and other tax-related software technology Proficient with use of Microsoft Office Suite tools Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) Excellent analytical and organizational skills Strong leadership, mentoring and staff development skills What's In It for You We offer competitive compensation and world class benefits and perks.
