- The Tax Manager will maintain the Company’s tax depreciation schedules and work closely with the Company’s auditors as they review/audit the tax provision.
- The Tax Manager will also serve as the primary contact to the accountants responsible for preparing the Company’s consolidated federal return.
- Additionally, the Tax Manager will be responsible for making various filings related to 2290 (Heavy Highway Vehicle Use Tax), IRP filings (International Fuel Tax Agreement), and ad valorem filings.
- In addition to these recurring responsibilities, the Tax Manager will play an integral role in ad hoc analysis for the Company and certain of its subsidiaries.
- The Tax Manager will consult the Company on matters ranging from transfer pricing arrangements, purchase accounting, and tax planning analysis, which will support the CFO and other stakeholders within the organization.
