- As Texas’ chief tax collector, accountant, revenue estimator, treasurer and purchasing manager, the agency is responsible for writing the checks and keeping the books for the multi-billion-dollar business of state government.
- The Direct and Indirect Tax Sections of the Tax Policy Division are looking for candidates for various Tax Analyst positions.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Law Degree (J.D.); or a bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting with a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
- Similar duties include reviewing legislative proposals, drafting or amending administrative rules, and/or drafting complex tax law question inquiries to states or the federal government.
