- The Support Placement Specialist is responsible for ensuring new Care Resource Client accessing Housing Services and Individual Placement Services for the first time are properly enrolled and provided with adequate options to engage and remain in care with the agency.
- Work with individuals in linking them to vocational rehabilitation services for job skill development, assist individuals in developing necessary employment skills to apply for and retain viable employment.
- Assists clients in obtaining information about their benefits (e.g., SSI, Medicaid, etc.)
- Coordinate all aspects of the job/career placement and employment services for the Community Action Agency (CAA).
- Provide career and employment services that includes job coaching, employability skills training and related workshops, work experience opportunities, job placement services, and job retention support.
