- The objective of the Supply Chain Manager is to establish an efficient flow of materials and information, from product creation to shipment, to satisfy customer demand and meet operational and financial objectives.
- To be successful in this role, the Supply Chain Manager must build trust and exert influence through close collaboration with the front-end and back-end operation leaders, outside vendors, and support function leaders.
- This includes HR, procurement, quality, engineering, and lean manufacturing.
- The Supply Chain Manager assumes functional responsibility for capacity planning, materials management and flow, strategic sourcing, and tactical procurement at one or more Tecomet facilities.
- The Supply Chain Manager is expected to accomplish these tasks while adhering to Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer-driven innovation, and a win-first culture, while meeting company financial and performance metrics such as inventory turns, standard cost variances, absorption, and budget.
