- Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY NUCLEAR ENGINEER or SUPERVISORY HEALTH PHYSICIST in the Radiological Control Office, Facilities and Process engineering Branch of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. Duties
- You will consult with key officials of engineering, design, planning, training and production organizations concerning technical aspects of radiological and nuclear facility processes, radioactive waste disposal and maintenance work.
- You will prepare plans, specifications, process procedures for the accomplishment of radiological and nuclear facility processes, radioactive waste characterization, processing and disposal shipments generated by maintenance related work.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or health physicist developing plans, specifications and procedures for the accomplishment of radiological and nuclear facilities work that includes reviewing plans and engineer work documents for proper radiological application.
