- Conducts investigation/reviews of situations that require a threat assessment.
- Responsible for KRA results; provides input to and implements the budget, administers policies and procedures, conducts inspections and audits to identify vulnerabilities and hazards; corrects deficiencies identified by third party inspections, audits, and regulatory surveys; meets state and federal compliance regulations (e.g. DNV, Environment of Care chapter of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, CMS, OSHA, etc
- Maintains current Department training standards in radio communications, verbal de-escalation, stabilization, CPR, application of clinical restraints, conducted energy weapon (Taser), etc.
- needs to be obtained within 6 months, orA valid drivers license issued by the Division of Motor Vehicles, andConcealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license issued by the Department of Justice (DOJ).
- Experience Required:Typically requires 5 years of experience in hospital security experience, security experience, law enforcement, and/or military, three of which must have been as an assigned leader, and including experiences dealing with emergent situations and identifying and resolving complex issues that pose a potential risk.
