- Reporting to the Energy Manager, the Supervisor Central Heating Plant will be responsible for the safe and efficient plant operation, over 2 million square feet of heating.
- Supervisor is responsible for all water treatment activities on campus, this includes coordinating with the water treatment vendor and in-house personnel to ensure that all systems are within operating parameters and all record keeping is maintained.
- Projects will include steam distribution upgrades, large boiler room upgrades and large HVAC equipment upgrades.
- Candidates must have Massachusetts Second Class Engineer’s License, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection UST Class A/B Operator Certificate and must be certified to conduct EPA method 9 (visible emissions) observations.
- Work may involve minor lifting, working on a ladder, working in mechanical/electrical spaces, hot boiler rooms, pipe tunnels, crawl spaces, confined spaces, on roofs, and near operating equipment, as well as working in inclement weather.
