- Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The primary responsibility of the Structural Services Manager is to provide leadership and direction to direct reports, coordinate projects throughout the design and construction phases along with take ownership of the financial performance of projects.
- Participate in the production and/or review of construction documents including but not limited to drawings, submittals, geotechnical reports, and proposals to ensure accuracy and conformance with design.
- Attend design coordination meetings with team members/client representatives along with strategic meetings with Executive VP and President.
- Responsibilities include reviewing timesheets and expense reports, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; performance management; rewards and recognition; disciplinary action; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Requirements:Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (structural major) from four-year college or university with eight to ten years of direct structural engineering experience, preferably in a consulting engineering firm; project management and leadership experience required.
