Job Type Full-time Description RRM Design Group is an employee owned company seeking a full-time Designer I or Designer II on our Structural team. The Designer I or Designer II will provide project design and detailing, including plans (hand sketches and 2D CAD production), calculations (hand calculations and using computer analysis tools), specifications, and estimates, with moderate direction from senior staff. We are open to onboarding the project engineer in any of our office locations: San Luis Obispo, San Leandro, Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Juan Capistrano, San Diego. YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE: <ul><li>Producing accurate CAD work that meets RRM appearance and CAD standards.</li><li>Coordinate and gather information from engineers and ensure that the information is properly incorporated into the drawings.</li><li>Knowing the scope and budget available for the tasks assigned and produce work within those constraints.</li><li>Visit project sites (rarely) for initial site visit and to confirm design issues, monitor construction, etc.</li></ul> Requirements WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE: Designer I <ul><li>High School diploma</li></ul> Designer II <ul><li>High School diploma</li><li>AutoCAD training</li><li>Minimum three (3) years of experience in drafting in CAD.</li></ul> ABOVE & BEYOND: for Designer I and Designer II <ul><li>AutoCAD software training and CAD training</li><li>Associates or technical school degree (CAD focus) or equivalent experience/training</li></ul> We're eager to learn more about your qualifications and interest in joining our team.
