- On public works projects, coordinate contract payments; resolves construction problems and design fixes in the field.
- Directs technical staff in drafting, surveying, and inspection duties.
- Organize, participate, or lead preconstruction conferences with agencies of jurisdiction, contractors, service providers and other interested parties.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and two (2) years of Professional Structural Engineer (SE) experience including relevant project design and construction management; or an equivalent combination of education, experience, certifications and training in lieu of specifically required qualifications listed above.
- Certification as a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training or the ability to obtain Washington state registration within one year of hire and maintain throughout employment.
