- With a staff of approximately 40 employees, this position oversees multiple work units and programs including field operations, capital improvements, the National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System program for the City, the stormwater utility fee billing, and serves as the Stormwater and Floodplain Administrator for the City.
- The Stormwater Division Manager reports to the Assistant Director of Public Works, and works closely with an energetic and dedicated team of professionals to accomplish the mission of the Division and the Department.
- A thorough knowledge of principles and practices in civil engineering, stormwater management, project and contract management, public infrastructure including streets and other utilities, design and construction practices and standards as applicable to capital improvement and in-house operational/maintenance projects.
- Provides technical expertise and recommendations regarding stormwater and floodplain management for the division, department, and the City.
- Serves as Stormwater Administrator and Floodplain Administrator for the City: oversees management of the NPDES program; interprets and applies related ordinances and regulations.
