- The primary responsibility of the Statistical Analyst position is to conduct statistical programming for dermatology-related research projects under the direction of a senior statistician and three principal investigators.
- The Statistical Analyst will also assist with designing interfaces for data collection and management, performing data integration, manuscript writing for peer reviewed medical journals, including generating figures and tables, and will support grant development with sample size calculations.
- The Statistical Analyst A will use standard SAS and/or Stata to create analytic datasets from clinical trials, health care claims, electronic medical records, and surveys; to construct and standardize analytical variables through data integration and data manipulation; to provide descriptive and analytic reports; and to perform statistical analyses.
- The Statistical Analyst B will use advance techniques in SAS, Stat, and/or R to merge datasets and create analyses files from complex databases and will use specialized statistical methods to analyze cross-sectional and longitudinal datasets.
