- Justice for Our Neighbors El Paso (“JFON El Paso”) seeks a committed, self-motivated immigration attorney to work at a newly-formed site in El Paso, which seeks to serve the West Texas and Southern New Mexico community.
- Reporting to the Executive Director (ED), the Staff Attorney is responsible for provision of immigration and civil legal services that JFON El Paso offers to the community of El Paso and Las Cruces.
- The Staff Attorney is a regular, full time, exempt employee for JFON El Paso.
- Represent clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including without limitation, cases involving asylum, citizenship, removal defense, family petitions, refugee adjustment of status, special immigrant juvenile status, VAWA, and DACA
- As part of the New Mexico Access to Justice Grant: represent immigrant clients in civil matters needed to navigate daily life in New Mexico, including custody, guardianship, divorce and family law, and eviction cases
