- The incumbent in this position is responsible for performing moderately complex work in accounting systems and related aspects of financial management including financial reporting, budget analysis, grant reporting, debt compliance/reconciliation, internal audit, and cash management; requiring comprehensive knowledge of the Seminole Tribe of Florida Inc.’s financial functions, government fund accounting, fixed assets, auditing, and automated accounting systems.
- The incumbent is required to operate with minimal supervision and must be able to independently develop data necessary for sound managerial decision making and financial reporting.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of related experience working as staff accountant is required.
- Prior experience in governmental accounting/auditing settings and fixed asset accounting is required.
