- The Stabilization Unit Supervisor supervises operations of the stabilization/intake and assessment unit at Ward 93/OTOP, including but not limited to UCSF social work associates, UCSF and CCSF clerical staff, and CCSF health workers levels II and III. The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the process of deterimining eligibility for OTOP services and implementation of the ASAM Multidimentional Assessment multiple providers, clinics and/or practices.
- OTOP Stabilization Unit Supervisor supervises unit operations to ensure compliance with UCSF Dept. of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences departmental or organizational policies, procedures, and defined internal controls.
- The Division of Substance Abuse and Addiction Medicine (DSAAM) provides multi-disciplinary consultation and treatment for patients with substance use disorders at San Francisco General Hospital (SFGH).
- DSAAM provides opioid agonist medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder through the Opiate Treatment Outpatient Program (OTOP) at Ward 93.
