- Atlantic City Electric (ACE), Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE), Commonwealth Edison (ComEd), Delmarva Power & Light (DPL), PECO Energy Company (PECO), and Potomac Electric Power Company (Pepco).
- The successful candidate will be responsible for system protection and control engineering and design deliverables for transmission and substation projects, 34 KV through 230 kV. Responsibilities include the following: Development of one-line diagrams, elementary drawings, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts associated with protection, metering, controls, and communications.
- Plan and schedule work to include developing an engineering and design scope of work, outage sequencing, and preliminary protection and/or communication diagrams.
- Perform modeling using system analysis software such as ASPEN, develop studies to establish zones of protection, calculate device settings for microprocessor and electro-mechanical relays, and conduct device coordinate study.
- Prepare settings in the relay manufacturers’ software; code/program intelligent electronic devices (IEDs)/PLCs/RTUs, develop alarm and SCADA communication point lists, and prepare test plans.
