- The Database Administrator is responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, performance, security, and maintenance of all data storage for the organization and our clients.
- The Database Administrator also provides the primary report-writing capability within the organization for production management reporting and data extraction activities.
- Create and maintain data loads from external clients via SSIS and manipulate data via a strong knowledge of ETL and SQL stored procedures.
- Implement database performance monitoring, mapping of conceptual designs, refining logical designs, data modeling, maintaining data standards and protection (encryption), writing database documentation (standards, procedures, definitions), defining access control and permissions, managing backup and recovery paths, and participating in capacity planning.
- Coordinates with the VP, Technology, and Lead Developer to ensure all data storage and retrieval capabilities are properly supported and maintained within our IT infrastructure.
