Spray Drying Operator Job Overview The Spray Drying Operator I will provide support in the daily operation of the production of spore forming bacteria (benign) as well as help clean the facility in the manner required for Good Manufacturing Practices of food and feed ingredients. These activities are primary responsibility of this job. Responsibilities and Duties <ul><li>Responsible for operating pilot and plant spray dryers, and all supporting equipment which include pumps, valves, cleaning systems and automation controls in the production of spray dried powder.</li><li>Perform analytical testing to ensure the slurry and finished product meets customer specifications (moisture, pH, density, etc.)</li><li>Submit samples of slurry and finished products to quality control or lab for analysis.</li><li>Responsible for accurate documentation on all records or logs of raw materials, finished products and all production processes. </li><li>Understand and follow production schedules working closely with the fermentation manager.</li><li>Troubleshoot equipment/process related issues on the fermenters, spray dryers, and associated equipment.</li><li>Responsible for achieving units and fermentation team goals.</li><li>Pack product on pallets and secure for shipping</li><li>Load product on carrier trailers and process shipping documents</li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>1+ years of experience in manufacturing, fermentation, spray drying or chemical product operations.</li><li>Associates degree or higher is desirable with focus in fermentation or biomanufacturing or spray drying</li></ul>Working Conditions/Environment Production Floor Culture Index Request (This needs to be completed prior to us reviewing your resume). https://go.apply.ci/s/6CE2E60000
