- Speech Language Pathology Assistant
- To provide therapy assistance to Speech Language Impaired students, as defined by the Speech Language Pathologist (SLP); to assist in the assessment of students; and to provide written and verbal input to the SLP regarding formal documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Disorders, Speech Pathology or Speech and Hearing Sciences; or Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Program that adheres to The American Speech Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) guidelines
- Valid Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license issued by the Arizona Department of Health Services
- Provide direct therapy assistance to students identified by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) following written therapy plans, IEPs or protocols developed by the SLP (See Arizona Department of Health Service guidelines for SLPAs∯*∯)
