- The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for speech therapy services administered to inpatients and outpatients who have speech, language, voice, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
- Services will cover both the evaluative and therapeutic aspects.
- All services will be consistent with Medical Center and Rehabilitation Department operating objectives.
- Graduate of an approved ASHA curriculum; Possess certification of clinical competence, Speech Language Pathology; Possess current New York State Speech Pathologist license.
- Ability to communicate effectively to patients regarding the anticipated treatment plan, level of patient's expected participation, and expected outcome.
