- Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and consultative supervision of the Speech Pathology Practice Manager, this Speech Pathologist is responsible for providing quality care for patients receiving Speech Pathology services, including evaluation, treatment planning, goal setting, treatment implementation, and discharge planning to transition the patient toward maximum independence.
- The Speech Pathologist plans and provides patient, family, peer and community education, and coordinates services with other health care professionals including interaction with physicians responsible for the care of the patient.
- The Speech Pathologist documents according to program and professional standards.
- The Speech Pathologist follows an individualized performance development plan to maintain current and competent in critical areas and support program goals, hospital goals and objectives, hospital functions and philosophy.
