- The selected candidate will teach three classes per semester (six per academic year), at the undergraduate or graduate level, including two or more of following: construction methods and materials, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP), building science, building information modeling (BIM), real estate development and finance, structural analysis and design, estimating, scheduling, contracts & specifications, project management, sustainable built environment, and infrastructure construction
- We desire to recruit candidates who will set and achieve goals for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) in their teaching and service efforts, targeting students and industry leaders in construction management.
- The program currently has 9 full-time faculty members, an undergraduate student advisor, and approximately 280 undergraduate students and 25 graduate students.
- The School of Planning, Design, and Construction unites four academic programs related to the built environment: Construction Management, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, and Urban and Regional Planning, with 43 faculty and academic specialists, and 8 staff members.
- The School is jointly administered by the Colleges of Agriculture & Natural Resources and Social Science.
