- Document field observations by transmitting daily field reports detailing site activities
- You may also perform destructive and non-destructive testing on construction materials, including operating electric, pneumatic and power-actuated tools, aerial lifts performing ground penetrating radar (GPR) structural surveys, pavement condition surveys, and concrete sawing, coring, and chipping
- Work is generally performed at heights and may require safety equipment and training as provided by ECS
- Provided training: ECS will train candidates in our methodology to perform observations, inspections, and tests of building construction projects related to your position and to document findings in accordance with accepted engineering practice, but you should have a sound understanding of building construction practices
- As experience increases, ECS will encourage and aid technicians in increasing level of competence and skills through internal training programs and external programs of certification provided by ACI, ASNT, AWS, ICC, MARTCP, NICET, NRCA, IIBEC , State DOT, WACEL, and others, as appropriate
