- Use your skills as a psychotherapist to fill an essential role on the medical treatment team guiding behavioral health care interventions in the safety and security of the hospital setting.
- A BHL develops and supports the treatment plan using psychosocial and therapeutic interventions, care coordination and other services as dictated by the plan of care to address patients presenting psychiatric disorder and/or psychosocial issue.
- The BHL completes all written and electronic documentation following clinic protocol and state certification requirements and participates in regularly scheduled collaboration and consults with psychiatrists and clinic supervisor.
- Master's degree in Social Work, counseling, educational psychology, or allied health profession from an accredited college or university is required.
- Current Wisconsin licensure as an Advanced Practice Social Worker (APSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC or LPC-IT).
