- The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) ensures the maximum safety performance and awareness of everyone associated with the project by overseeing the administration of all safety and health policies and procedures established in the Conti Safety, Health, and Environmental Program.
- The SSHO will work closely with all levels of management to analyze safety trends and will be the lead on facilitating ways to improve safety on the project.
- Works with the Foremen and Superintendents, using the Activity Hazard Analysis, to develop the daily Take 5 Daily Safety Checklist.
- Coaches them to communicate the hazards associated, so work crews are actively involved in the Take 5 Meeting.
