- APTIM is seeking a qualified Site Safety and Health Specialist (SSHS) with DOD (Department of Defense), DOE (Department of Energy) or NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) experience.
- The candidate will be responsible for implementing, and administering health, safety & environmental protection programs affecting occupational health, employee and public safety, incident investigation and loss control, responsible environmental practices and equipment & property protection.
- SSHS will assist Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) with management of HSE program and safety assessment documents that will support all work activities performed on complex D&D/remediation and radiological projects.
- Be a resource to SSHO and Project regarding Health, Safety & Environmental compliance with applicable federal, state, local, client, and APTIM rules and regulations.
