- Satisfactory completion of a course approved by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) in the carrying and use of a club or baton or possession of a valid and current baton certification issued by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs.
- Background/Criminal History: Applicants for Sheriff's Security Officer must pass a criminal history and background check which may include a Computer Voice Stress Analyzer (CVSA) examination and contact of prior employers and personal references.
- The following Supplemental Questionnaire is the Civil Service Exam for this position and will be used to determine your exam score.
- Satisfactory completion of a course approved by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T) in the carrying and use of a club or baton or possession of a valid and current issued by the State of California, Department of Consumer Affairs.
