- The Shelter Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the homeless shelter, ensuring the provision of high-quality services to residents and maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
- Ensures accurate record-keeping in tandem with Lead Client Care Specialists, including guest intake, billing log, client files, program statistics, and incident reports.
- Oversees the implementation of shelter programs and services, meeting weekly with Case Management and Client Care Specialist staff to ensure tracking of goals and maintenance of accountability.
- Oversees the Friendship Center program operations and day staff.
- Conducts regular inspections of shelter facilities and equipment, proactively assesses maintenance, repair, and supply needs and communicates them to the Facilities Coordinator and Director of Shelter Services.
