- The ideal candidate will have prior experience providing permitting (including agency coordination) with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and state agencies, wetland delineation and/or mitigation, due diligence, project management, and technical service in water/water quality, impact assessments, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), listed species, etc.
- Types of projects may include but are not limited to oil and gas pipelines, liquid natural gas facilities, solar facilities, wind farms, energy-related projects, residential and commercial permitting, mitigation/conservation banking, water resources, and roadways.
- In addition, an understanding of the informational requirements of key permits at the local, state, national, and federal levels (e.g. NEPA, Endangered Species Act (ESA), Clean Water Act (CWA), etc.)
- Specific understanding of USACE New Orleans and Galveston District standard operating procedures and Louisiana Department of Natural Resources coordination is desired.
- Responsible for project setup, project delivery, project controls, business development, client satisfaction and contract management
