- The Senior Visual Information Designer supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Corporate Communications office with approximately 800 visual information (VI) product deliverables annually, to support command communication goals, using Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
- Design and produce technical and artistic illustration and graphic artwork for brochures, posters, exhibits, displays, and logos.
- Perform design and development of 3-D models, audio, photography, animation and simulation products, shooting digital photographs, digital editing and production, and interactive/multi-media products.
- Provide editing into a professional audiovisual product in accordance with DoD and Navy as well as industry audiovisual standards, adhere to standards outlined in Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), as amended by the Workforce Investment Act of 1998 (P.L. 105-220), August 7, 1998, and be usable by commercial news outlets.
- Bachelor's degree in fine arts, communications, graphic design or animation with the following type of work experience: Seven (7) years of related experience in developing visual information and graphic art products for various print, exhibit, web-page design, digital audio/video, and on-line media.
