- Senior Planning and budget Analysts will play a pivotal role in determining what, when, and how the MTA builds-prioritizing capital investments, evaluating project scopes, establishing the project and program budgets, maximizing external funding opportunities, monitoring and reporting on Capital Program performance, and strategically coordinating packaging and scheduling work to maximize benefits and minimize construction impacts to MTA riders.
- This position assists in ensuring the optimal provision of operating agency support personnel and equipment ("force account"), including construction flaggers, work trains, and track access, for MTA C&D projects.
- Plan, budget, monitor, and coordinate usage of MTA resources (e.g., track access, work equipment, flaggers, and other support personnel) to support the implementation of capital projects.
- Assist with continuous improvement of existing MTA systems used for support resource provision, including Unified General Order System (UGOS), Consolidated Work Train Manifest System (CWTMS), TA Labor Construction System (TLCS), etc.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college in transportation, city or urban planning, engineering, business, accounting, finance, public administration, public policy, or a related field.
