- Develop strategies to support advocacy for racial equity and system change work within the housing continuum.
- Create and lead ongoing community engagement forums and cohorts for the purpose of developing a Housing Advisory Council comprised of nonprofit partners of color, culturally specific or culturally responsive community-based organizations, and Black, Indigenous, People of Color with lived experience that reside or work in the Metro area to include Multnomah, Clackamas, Washington, and Clark counties.
- Manage and build relationships with an array of stakeholders including policy makers, legislators, nonprofit leaders, funders, and government agencies while using a racial equity lens to remain abreast of the ever-changing needs of communities of color.
- Work collaboratively with Resource Development, Marketing & Communications, and grant writing teams to articulate and share the value of this work.
- Represent Community Impact and United Way at community events.
